Delhi Police Arrest Cyber Fraud Gang Behind ₹12 Crore Online Scam

Delhi Police's Cyber Cell has arrested six members of an interstate cyber fraud syndicate responsible for online investment scams worth over ₹12 crore. According to investigators, the accused created fake investment websites and mobile applications promising guaranteed profits through cryptocurrency and stock market investments. Victims were persuaded to transfer funds into fraudulent accounts before all communication was cut off. Police recovered multiple laptops, mobile phones, forged identity documents, SIM cards, and bank account details during the raid. Officials stated that more arrests are expected as the investigation continues. Authorities have advised citizens to verify investment platforms and avoid transferring money based on social media advertisements or unknown phone calls.
